2. Eligibility

To use GSL, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU)

You agree to use GSL in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree NOT to:

• Cheat or Exploit: Use hacks, cheats, exploits, bugs, glitches, bots, or any unfair advantage
• Harass or Abuse: Engage in harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users
• Impersonate: Pretend to be another person or entity
• Spam: Send unsolicited messages, advertisements, or promotional content
• Violate Rights: Infringe on intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others
• Disrupt Services: Interfere with or disrupt the operation of GSL or servers
• Manipulate Results: Engage in match-fixing, collusion, or any form of competitive manipulation
• Multiple Accounts: Create or use multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Inappropriate Content: Post or share offensive, obscene, or illegal content

5. Competition Rules and Fair Play

5.1 General Rules

Participants in ladders and tournaments must:

• Follow all competition-specific rules and guidelines
• Compete fairly and honestly
• Report match results accurately and promptly
• Respect opponents, administrators, and community members
• Use approved game versions and settings

5.2 Match Disputes

Disputes must be reported within the specified timeframe. GSL administrators have final authority on all dispute resolutions. Evidence such as screenshots or recordings may be required.

5.3 Anti-Cheating

GSL maintains a zero-tolerance policy for cheating. We reserve the right to:

• Investigate suspected cheating
• Review match recordings and logs
• Disqualify players or teams found cheating
• Ban accounts permanently for serious violations

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 User-Generated Content

When you post content on GSL (comments, team names, profiles, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating GSL.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you post and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

6.2 GSL Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on GSL are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use, copy, or distribute any GSL content without our express written permission.

6.3 Jedi Academy

Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is a trademark of LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC and/or Disney. GSL is an independent community platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LucasArts or Disney.

7. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Cheating or unfair play
• Abusive or harmful behavior
• Inactivity for extended periods
• Any reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use GSL will immediately cease. We may also delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policies.

8. Prizes and Awards

GSL may award prizes, achievements, or recognition to competition winners. Prize details will be specified for each competition.

Prize eligibility requirements:

• Must comply with all competition rules
• Must not have violated Terms of Service
• Must provide accurate contact information
• May be subject to tax obligations in your jurisdiction

We reserve the right to withhold prizes if fraud, cheating, or rule violations are detected.

• Any loss or damage resulting from use of third-party services
